What is N-Power?
N-Power is a job creation and empowerment programme initiative of the National Social Investment Proramme (NSIP) of the Federal Government of Nigeria. The N-Power programme which is for young Nigerians between the age of 18 to 35 is an intervention programme that will help address the challenge of youth unemployment by providing a structure for large scale and relevant work skills acquisition and development while linking its core outcomes to fixing inadequate public services and stimulating the larger economy.
There are two categories of N-Power:
- Graduate Category: N-Power Teach, N-Power Health, N-Power Agro, N-Power Tax.
- Non-Graduate Category .N-Power Knowledge: -Tech (Hardware and Software)-Creative. .N-Power Build.
N-Power Build is an acelerated training and certification proramme for unemployed Nigerian Youths in order to build a new crop of highly competent and skilled workforce of technicians, artisans and service professionals.
ITPN (Institute of Tourism and Professionals of Nigeria) being an awarding body is collaborating with N-Power Build and NIHOTOUR to boost local skills acquisition and capability to improve operational efficiency, growth and sustainable development of the hospitality industry.
